Medicaid is a type of medical insurance available for many people who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government provided insurance. Whether somebody is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify simply because they earn a fair income.
