Medicare is a form of medical health insurance designed by the government for older persons, along with people who have certain disabilities and sicknesses. If a person who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The one catch is, the person will need to receive treatment from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehab, they can also get to see their doctor who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve what type of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual should be hospitalized because of their issue, along with the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
