Medicare is a kind of health care insurance designed by the U.S. government for older persons, along with individuals with specific disabilities and sicknesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only real exception is, the person must receive treatment from the drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehab, they will also have to see their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will typically approve which kind of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab providers. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual has to be hospitalized for their issue, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
