Medicaid is a medical health insurance available for individuals who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government provided insurance. Whether or not an individual is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify simply because they earn a reasonable income. For instance, men and women who have many dependents may be entitled to Medicaid even when they make what would be described as a reasonable income. Medicaid may also cover the price of rehabilitation, if someone has been abusing alcohol or drugs and requires rehabilitation. There are numerous drug treatment facilities which accept Medicaid, but different states have different guidelines for what types of rehabilitation are covered. Some states only cover outpatient rehab services as an example while other states cover more intensive rehabilitation like a residential stay in long-term alcohol and drug rehab facility. If anyone is involved in substance abuse and desires help, they're able to use their Medicaid health coverage to obtain this help. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have the cash or another form of medical insurance to pay for rehab, they can check if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in a drug treatment program that is approved within their state.
