Self pay is sometimes the only option for many who need rehab in a drug and alcohol treatment center for drug use but have no medical insurance. It isn't uncommon for an individual addicted to alcohol or drugs not to have private medical insurance, as it can be tough to maintain a drug or alcohol habit going while also sustaining employment.
