Medicare is a type of medical insurance created by the federal government for senior citizens, along with individuals with specific disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only exception is, the individual will need to obtain treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to commence rehab, they can also get to see their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of treatment the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment solutions. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual should be hospitalized for their problem, and also the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in the Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
