Being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS may trigger drug abuse, or dangerous sexual conduct due to drug abuse could have caused to contract the disease. People who have HIV/AIDS, either as a result of their substance abuse or as a pre-existing problem before their substance abuse issue, often require rehabilitation services tailor-made to meet their specific needs and challenges. Some problems are physical in nature, because of the fact that drug users with HIV/AIDS almost never care for themselves and take the proper medicines they need to preserve their health.
