Medicare is a form of health insurance developed by the U.S. government for seniors, along with people who have specific disabilities and illnesses. If someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only catch is, the individual must acquire treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehabilitation, they can also get to visit their medical doctor who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will typically approve what sort of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual should be hospitalized because of their problem, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
