Medicaid is a type of medical insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government funded insurance coverage. Whether a person is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only determined by income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify because they make an acceptable income.
