Offering gender-specific rehabilitation services has shown to be very useful in circumstances where standard rehab settings have fallen short, for example coping with situations inside a women's life which are distinctive and traumatic. Following this step, counselors help women give attention to both basic and gender-specific issues who have triggered their substance abuse. Women also enjoy the beneficial support from their female peers, and some centers that provide rehab services to women provide client beds for her young children.
