Medicare is a type of medical health insurance developed by the U.S. government for older persons, along with individuals with certain disabilities and illnesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only catch is, the individual must acquire treatment coming from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start treatment, they can also get to see their physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual needs to be hospitalized for their problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
