TRICARE is health care insurance that's offered to individuals in the armed forces of the United States. Drug and alcohol use within the military is more common than one would imagine, and the necessity to offer treatment to these individuals is a crucial priority. TRICARE covers numerous treatment services to address drug and alcohol dependence including detoxification services, and also rehab in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient settings. People who have TRICARE will of course need to obtain a prior approval before partaking in any sort of rehab service, that may be arranged with their regional TRICARE liaison.
