Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the government for older persons, in addition to people with certain disabilities and diseases. If someone who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real catch is, the individual will need to acquire treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence treatment, they may also have to visit their doctor who must state that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what type of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual should be in a hospital because of their issue, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
