Medicare is a type of medical insurance created by the government for older persons, in addition to people who have specific disabilities and diseases. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The one catch is, the person must obtain treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual should be hospitalized because of their problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
