TRICARE is medical health insurance that's provided to individuals in the armed forces of the United States. If an inpatient program is the favored treatment option, TRICARE covers 21 days or one inpatient stay in such a program per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are specific limits concerning the length of time a TRICARE member can remain within an inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30 to 45 day window that is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which may be very helpful, as it may help include loved ones in the healing and process of recovery. No member of the military should struggle with this battle alone, and there are skilled rehabilitation counselors waiting to help today.
