Medicare is a form of health care insurance created by the U.S. government for older persons, along with people who have specific disabilities and sicknesses. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only catch is, the person will need to receive treatment from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehab, they will also have to see their medical doctor who must state that treatment services are medically essential, and the physician will usually approve which kind of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment providers. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual has to be hospitalized for their issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
