TRICARE is health insurance that's offered to people in the military of the United States. TRICARE covers many different rehabilitation services to cope with drug and alcohol dependence including detoxification services, as well as rehab in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient programs. Those that have TRICARE will obviously be required to obtain a prior approval before partaking in any sort of treatment service, which may be organized with their regional TRICARE representative. If an inpatient facility will be the preferred rehab option, TRICARE covers twenty-one days or one inpatient stay in this center per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are specific limits regarding the length of time a TRICARE member can remain in an inpatient center that accepts TRICARE, then there is typically a 30 to 45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family counselling that may be very useful, as it may help include loved ones in the healing and recovery process. No person in the military should struggle with this battle alone, and there are skilled rehabilitation counselors waiting to help you today.
