Medicare is a form of health care insurance developed by the federal government for older persons, in addition to people with certain disabilities and sicknesses. If someone that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The only real exception is, the person must acquire treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare.
