Dual diagnosis rehabs are centers which provide rehabilitation to deal with both mental health and addiction issues concurrently. Offering a safe and secure setting is key to ensure dual diagnosis clients can be at ease and remain free from distraction from things which could cut across their treatment plan and advancement. Treatment counselors will continue to work to spot environmental issues in the client's life such as negative relationships or other things which have to be addressed in order for the person to remain mentally healthy and sober t once they leave dual diagnosis rehab. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral rehabilitation which helps them develop far better coping methods so that they are able to better deal with life situations better after they depart dual diagnosis rehab instead of returning to drugs as an inferior answer.
