Those who are LGBT can feel alone, not understood, and viewed as socially unwanted. This is often a quite challenging and painful way to live, and leads many LGBT people to a life of drug use to numb this pain. Somebody who is LGBT may not feel comfortable in a conventional rehab facility amongst people who aren't experiencing the same problems they may be experiencing in their lives.
