A group home for a person who has tbeen involved with drug abuse is a facility which offers continual support and help for those in recovery. A group home is ordinarily for troubled adolescents, but there are also group homes for people with a mental health disorder or who are experiencing behavioral trouble for example. Instead of sending individuals who are struggling with substance abuse or recovering from drug abuse to an orphanage, asylum or another similar facility, a group home may help provide an appropriate environment to help individuals maintain stability inside their lives and have counsel and support at their fingertips 24/7. People who reside within a group home may be getting involved in rehabilitation services whilst in residence, or might be taking actions to get their life set up outside of the group home so that they can at some point live on their own outside of the group home.
