Medicare is a form of medical health insurance designed by the U.S. government for older folks, and also those that have certain disabilities and diseases. If a person who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only catch is, the person must receive treatment from the alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehab, they may also have to see their medical doctor who must state that treatment services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehabilitation solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual should be hospitalized for his or her problem, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
