TRICARE is health insurance that is provided to individuals in the armed forces of the United States. Drug abuse inside the military is much more common than one would imagine, and the necessity to provide treatment to these individuals is a vital priority. TRICARE covers a number of treatment services to deal with alcohol and drug dependence including detoxification services, as well as treatment in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient settings.
