Dual diagnosis rehabs are centers which deliver rehab to deal with both mental health and addiction concerns at the same time. Dual diagnosis is an extremely common situation for folks involved with drug and alcohol abuse, as individuals with mental health disorders frequently self medicate with alcohol and drugs to experience some form of temporary relief from their disorder. Dual diagnosis clients also benefit from behavioral rehabilitation that helps them develop more effective coping methods so that they are better able to handle life circumstances better once they depart dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to turning to alcohol and drugs as an inferior solution.
