Medicaid is a form of health care insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government funded insurance coverage. Whether or not a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify because they make a reasonable income.
