Medicare is a type of medical insurance created by the government for older persons, in addition to those that have specific disabilities and diseases. When someone who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The only real exception is, the individual will need to receive treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin rehabilitation, they can also get to visit their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will generally approve which kind of treatment the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehabilitation solutions. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual should be hospitalized for his or her issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
