If a person who has Medicare needs rehab for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only catch is, the person will have to obtain treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence rehab, they may also have to see their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will generally approve what type of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual has to be in a hospital for issue, as well as the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
