Medicare is a form of medical insurance designed by the government for older persons, along with those that have specific disabilities and diseases. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The only real catch is, the individual will need to acquire treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start treatment, they may also have to visit their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual must be in a hospital for their problem, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
