Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the government for seniors, along with those that have certain disabilities and diseases. If someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The only real exception is, the individual will need to obtain treatment from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to start rehab, they can also get to see their medical doctor who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve what sort of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual should be hospitalized for their issue, and also the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
