Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide rehab to address both mental health and addiction issues at the same time. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral treatment which helps them develop more effective coping methods so that they are able to better handle life circumstances better once they depart dual diagnosis rehab as opposed to returning to drugs and alcohol as an inferior option.
