Criminal justice client rehabs can be considered as being a significantly better option than prison time or heavy fines for many who have been convicted of any sort of alcohol or drug related crime. For instance, somebody who has been found guilty of driving while impaired of alcohol or drugs may qualify to receive rehabilitation services for their problem rather than serving time in jail. The judge might even order the individual receive rehabilitation, either alone or in addition to other consequences. First-time offenders in particular in many cases are given the opportunity to choose a criminal justice client rehab instead of other sentencing, and it is well-advised that they make the most of it when it is an option. The idea behind criminal justice client rehabs is it is far more effective and efficient to invest time and energy into rehabilitation than enforcement of other consequences.
