Medicare is a type of health insurance created by the government for seniors, along with people with specific disabilities and illnesses. If someone that has Medicare needs rehab for instances of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real catch is, the individual will have to receive treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin rehab, they can also get to see their doctor who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual should be hospitalized for his or her problem, along with the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
