Medicaid is a medical insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to receive this government funded insurance. Whether someone is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend on their earnings however, and people shouldn't assume they don't qualify simply because they earn a reasonable income. If someone is involved in drug use and wants help, they can use their Medicaid health coverage to acquire this help. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have enough cash or some other kind of medical insurance to cover rehab, they can determine if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in a drug and alcohol treatment facility which is approved inside their state.
