Medicare is a type of health care insurance designed by the federal government for older persons, in addition to people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If someone who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual should be in a hospital because of their issue, and also the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
