Medicare is a type of medical health insurance designed by the federal government for senior citizens, in addition to individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. When someone that has Medicare needs rehab for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The one catch is, the person must receive treatment from your alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start treatment, they can also get to see their doctor who must state that rehab services are medically necessary, and the physician will generally approve which kind of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of treatment solutions. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual should be hospitalized for their problem, along with the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
