Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the government for senior citizens, along with those that have certain disabilities and sicknesses. When someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The one catch is, the individual will need to obtain treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin rehab, they will also have to see their physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically necessary, and the doctor will typically approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehabilitation solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual needs to be hospitalized for their problem, and also the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they've got to self pay.
