Those that have TRICARE will naturally have to have a prior authorization before partaking in any type of rehab service, which can be arranged with their regional TRICARE liaison. If an inpatient program could be the preferred rehabilitation choice, TRICARE covers 21 days or one inpatient stay in this center per benefit period which is every 12 months. There are specific limits concerning the length of time a TRICARE member can stay within an inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30-45 day window that is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which may be very helpful, as it may help include loved ones in the healing and process of recovery. No member of the military should struggle with this battle alone, and there are skilled treatment counselors standing by to help today.
