Hearing impaired individuals tend to have an elevated chance of substance abuse issues due to their impairment, and treatment services must be available which cater to their circumstances. Group therapy provides a venue for important peer support to ensure that treatment clients can know that they are not on their own, and that there's hope to handle their challenge with drugs and alcohol. Individual therapy services could be more tailor-made for everybody so that their particular problems can be addressed in treatment.
