Medicare is a form of medical health insurance designed by the federal government for older folks, in addition to people with specific disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual that has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the individual will have to receive treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to start rehabilitation, they will also have to visit their primary care physician who must declare that rehab services are medically needed, and the doctor will generally approve what sort of rehab the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual must be hospitalized for issue, along with the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
