Medicaid is a form of health insurance available for many people who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government funded insurance. Whether or not someone qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon income however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify just because they make a reasonable income. If a person is involved with substance abuse and desires help, they can use their Medicaid insurance coverage to obtain this help. If they don't have Medicaid and in addition don't have the funds or any other form of medical health insurance to pay for rehab, they could check if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then sign up for a drug treatment program which is approved in their state.
