Medicare is a sort of medical health insurance designed by the government for older persons, in addition to people with certain disabilities and diseases. If an individual who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The only exception is, the person must obtain treatment coming from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehabilitation services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual needs to be hospitalized because of their problem, and also the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
