TRICARE is health care insurance which is provided to folks in the armed forces of the United States. If an inpatient facility is the preferred rehabilitation choice, TRICARE will cover a three week period or one inpatient stay in such a center per benefit period which is every 12 months. There are specific limits about how long a TRICARE member can stay in an inpatient program that accepts TRICARE, then there is typically a 30 to 45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment that may be very useful, as it can certainly help include loved ones in the healing and recovery process.
