Medicare is a form of medical insurance developed by the U.S. government for seniors, as well as individuals with specific disabilities and diseases. If an individual that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The one exception is, the individual must acquire treatment from the alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin rehabilitation, they will also have to visit their primary care physician who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve what sort of treatment the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual must be in a hospital for his or her issue, as well as the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
