Self pay is often times the only option for individuals who need rehab in an alcohol and drug rehab center for drug abuse but have no health insurance. It isn't uncommon for an individual hooked on drugs or alcohol to not have private health insurance, as it can be tough to keep an alcohol or drug habit going while also sustaining employment.
