Medicaid is a type of medical health insurance available for those who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government provided insurance coverage. Whether an individual is qualified for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify simply because they make a reasonable income. If a person is involved in drug abuse and needs help, they can use their Medicaid insurance coverage to obtain this treatment. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have the money or any other type of health care insurance to cover rehabilitation, they can check if they qualify for Medicaid and then enroll in a drug rehabilitation facility which is approved inside their state.
