Medicare is a form of health care insurance designed by the government for older folks, and also people with specific disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real exception is, the individual will need to obtain treatment from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehabilitation, they can also get to visit their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve what sort of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment services. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual should be in a hospital for his or her problem, and also the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in the Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
