Medicare is a type of medical health insurance created by the government for older persons, in addition to people who have specific disabilities and illnesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The only catch is, the individual will have to acquire treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehab, they will also have to visit their doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the physician will typically approve which kind of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual needs to be in a hospital because of their issue, along with the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other hospital stay.
