Medicare is a type of health care insurance developed by the U.S. government for older folks, along with people with specific disabilities and diseases. If an individual that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehab will be either covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. The only real catch is, the person must obtain treatment from your alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence treatment, they will also have to see their physician who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the doctor will usually approve which kind of treatment the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual must be in a hospital because of their problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
