Medicare is a type of medical insurance designed by the federal government for seniors, in addition to people with certain disabilities and illnesses. When someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The only real catch is, the person will have to receive treatment coming from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin treatment, they can also get to see their primary care physician who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically necessary, and the doctor will typically approve what type of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment providers. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual has to be in a hospital for issue, as well as the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in the Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
