Medicare is a type of medical health insurance created by the government for seniors, as well as those that have specific disabilities and sicknesses. When someone that has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only real exception is, the person must acquire treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to start rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their physician who must declare that rehab services are medically needed, and the doctor will generally approve what type of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual has to be hospitalized because of their problem, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they will have to self pay.
